When you book a mobile IV therapy session with Salt City IV, a licensed registered nurse arrives at your chosen location with all necessary medical supplies. The process begins with a brief health assessment where your nurse reviews your medical history, current symptoms, medications, and wellness goals to determine the optimal IV formulation for your needs.
Your nurse then selects a vein — typically in the forearm or hand — and inserts a small IV catheter. This takes just a moment and most clients describe it as a brief pinch. Our nurse Lindsay is known for her exceptional IV insertion skills, with most clients reporting first-try success even for those who are typically "hard sticks."
Once the IV is placed, the customized solution begins flowing into your bloodstream. A standard IV session takes 30-60 minutes depending on the treatment. During this time, you are free to relax, watch television, work on your laptop, scroll your phone, or simply rest. Your nurse remains present throughout the entire session to monitor your comfort, adjust the flow rate, and ensure everything is going smoothly.
After the infusion is complete, the IV is removed and a small bandage is applied. Most clients feel the effects immediately — improved energy, reduced nausea, headache relief, and overall wellness. The full benefits of vitamin and mineral infusions continue to develop over the following 24-48 hours as your body utilizes the nutrients at the cellular level.
IV therapy is safe for most adults and can be repeated as often as needed. Many of our Salt Lake City clients schedule regular weekly or monthly sessions for ongoing wellness maintenance, while others book on-demand for specific needs like hangover recovery, migraine relief, or immune support during cold and flu season.
